About Kristen

I began skating when I was six years old in California’s Central Valley. My first time on the ice was magical and I knew I found my happy place. As a skater I became a double gold medalist in Moves in the Field and Freestyle and finished my competitive career at the senior level.

As a coach, I share my love for the ice with my students and I enjoy building solid skating foundations, utilizing video analysis, and off ice conditioning. I find joy in the success of accomplishing everything from a student's first one foot glide, skating a personal best at competitions, and helping students to meet or exceed their personal goals and dreams. I work with skaters of all ages, levels, and abilities at Solar4America Ice in San Jose.
